Joplin city officials have several large studies and projects they will pursue during the upcoming fiscal 2026.

One of those is the possibility of asking voters to renew or pass a replacement of Proposition B, a half-cent sales tax approved by voters in 2019 that has nearly accomplished its purpose to fully fund the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund. ×
