The Toronto Blue Jays are back to being a hot ticket item this season, so how did their attendance numbers stack up across the MLB?

With just six home games left on the Blue Jays’ schedule, they are currently averaging 34,647 fans per game at the Rogers Centre, which carries a capacity of just under 42,000 for baseball games.

That ranks ninth in the MLB in average attendance, and second among American League teams. The only AL team that averages more is the New York Yankees, who rank second in the entire league with 42,464 fans per game.

This is nothing new for Toronto, which has ranked either ninth or eighth in MLB attendance for each of the last four seasons as well.
