Gatesville ISD honors staff members who helped student who had seizure

GATESVILLE, Texas — Gatesville ISD is recognizing multiple staff members who helped assist after a student had a seizure.

According to the district, an intermediate student had a seizure earlier this school year, and several staff members took action to help.

Gatesville ISD commended staff members Laura Winkler, Scott Campbell, Michelle Richardson, Jenna Herbelin, Tobias Moore and Jose Sanchez on doing a "fantastic job" of caring for the student until outside medical help could arrive.

The district said the staff members worked together to take care of multiple tasks to keep the situation under control.
