COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The City of Copperas Cove has proposed a new utility and fee to maintain roads in the city, and is hosting public meetings for residents to provide their feedback.

The City has been hosting a series of residential and commercial town hall meetings to discuss the proposed Street Maintenance Utility, which is part of the city's "Let's Fix Our Streets" initiative.

Residential meetings have been held on Sept. 8, 10 and 23, with a fourth scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27. Commercial meetings have been held on Sept. 6 and 15, with a third scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24.

All meetings will be held at the Technology Center, located 508 S. 2nd Street.
