SANGER, Texas — Justin Cooper had to replace the roof on his home in Sanger just three years ago. After this past Sunday’s storm , he says three years is about all that “new” roof will get.
“I went inside, and about 30 minutes later, everything just went insane. It started up just like that,” he said from his home at Kensington and Stratford Place Drive on the east side of I-35.
By Tuesday morning, he had work crews covering a large portion of his roof with a blue tarp to cover areas where rain had already made its way inside. Two back bedroom windows were smashed by hail. And his window screens, along with those of dozens of other neighbors, were shredded by the hail storm.
