JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KY3) - Running into danger is an everyday occurrence for the men and women who wear the uniform of Missouri’s police, firefighters, and troopers. But alongside them are everyday Missourians whose bravery runs just as deep.
Every day, Missourians are going above and beyond the call of duty to keep each other safe. On Tuesday, the state honored several dozen Missourians who demonstrated exceptional courage in the face of danger. At the ceremony, 31 first responders, one court officer, and six everyday Missourians received awards for their bravery.
