LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fayette County Board Chair Tyler Murphy provided clarification on the September 16 special-called meeting, where members voted for an independent audit .

Murphy says their request for an audit will be done by the audit committee, made up of community members who are professionals in finance, accounting and auditing.
