PARK RAPIDS — A win is a win, but this one was almost as close as it could get for the Bemidji High School girls swimming and diving team.
The Lumberjacks beat Park Rapids 93-90 in a road duel on Tuesday, a slim three-point victory that could've gone either way.
The team of Anna Friedt, Abby Daman, Kiera Strodtman and Finley Zothman scored the first victory of the night for Bemidji in the 200 medley relay (1:59.21). Zothman, Daman, Strodtman and Elle Wille won the 200 free relay as well (1:43.78).
Wille also won the 200 (2:09.48) and 500 freestyle races (5:50.43). Daman finished in first place in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:13.92 and came second in the 200-yard IM in 2:24.85. Strodtman did the opposite, winning the 200 IM (2:21.96) and coming in second behind Daman in the breaststrok
