MANOR, Texas — When it comes to heavy traffic on U.S. 290, some Manor residents say they are fed up.

"The traffic is horrible. So now, I mean, at this point we've become famous as being sort of one of the worst places for traffic," Allen Ambuhl said.

"It's not going to be an easy fix, but I'm all for fixing that," Manor resident Linda Harvey said.

Now, the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is considering extending the U.S. 290 toll from State Highway 130 in Travis County to State Highway 95 South in Bastrop County.

Right now, the U.S. 290 toll runs roughly 6 miles from U.S. 183 in East Austin to Parmer Lane at the western edge of Manor.
