BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Brookhaven Police said Tuesday there had been an arrest made following a series of apartment complex burglaries last month.
The department earlier this month said the suspect targeted apartment mailrooms on Aug. 5 and Aug. 23, stealing packages.
They had been seeking 44-year-old Amanda S. Noble in the case when, on Tuesday, a seemingly unrelated police chase began for a reported stolen van out of Clayton County.
The Fulton County Sheriff's Office said its units pursued the van and it eventually crashed. Two people were in the van, one of them Noble.
She was arrested and now faces charges including theft by receiving stolen property (felony) as well as obstruction and drug counts.
