Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after a man was stabbed following a road traffic altercation with another driver in Montreal’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Tuesday evening.

Around 8:30 p.m., authorities were called to the intersection of Crémazie Blvd. and Papineau Avenue where they found a 45-year-old man injured in the upper body by a sharp object.

According to initial reports, a dispute broke out between two drivers at the intersection of Sauvé and Berri streets.

The victim was then found on Crémazie Blvd. and was then taken to hospital. The SPVM told CityNews on Wednesday morning that his life is not in danger.

No arrests have been made so far, an investigation is ongoing.
