Hurricane Gabrielle continues to move across the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
At 5 a.m., Gabrielle had winds of 115 mph, making it a Category 3 storm. Steady weakening is expected over the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, the NHC is monitoring two more tropical waves in the Atlantic.

Gabrielle is moving east-northeast at 25 mph over the Atlantic Ocean.
On the forecast track, the center of Gabrielle will approach the Azores during the day on Thursday and move across the island chain Thursday night into Friday.
Gabrielle has maximum sustained winds of 115 mph and a minimum central pressure of 950 mb.
