ENFIELD, Conn. — A hunter has died after falling from a tree in Enfield, according to local police.

Police, fire crews, and EMS responded to Weymouth Road around 7 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a hunter falling from a tree.

First responders found the hunter about 300 yards into the woods. Responders provided CPR and brought him out of the woods with a UTV.

He was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, and he was pronounced dead, police said.

The victim has not been identified at this time.
