HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Today begins a trend toward warmer and drier days to come. That said, a few spotty sprinkles or light showers will be possible today, mainly over roughly the southeastern half of Nebraska into North Central Kansas. There are some very isolated spotty sprinkles or very light rain already this morning moving from northeast to southwest. More of these area expected to pop up later this morning and this afternoon. While there might be some very random lightning and thunder, nothing even close to severe is expected. Look for high temperatures across the area to be close to average in the mid to upper 70s. Showers will gradually clear up tonight and so will the clouds. Low temperatures will dip back to between the mid 40s west to the mid 50s east.
