Brits are being warned to remain cautious while out at bars and restaurants as scammers are compromising self-ordering QR codes that are conveniently placed at ends of tables.
With many of us enjoying going out to the pub with our pals or treating ourselves to a meal out at the weekend, the majority of us have become accustomed with the QR codes at tables that allow you to order your food and drink from your phone.
Allowing you and your loved ones more time to browse the menu, many people prefer to order off these codes as they allow you to pay once you have ordered, which cancels out the awkward wait for the bill at the end of a meal.
However, while these black and white squares seem innocent, they have now become a qateway to financial disast
