Four men are being quizzed by police after another man is said to have been stabbed and seriously assaulted.

Police were called at 11.09am yesterday to reports of a disturbance inside a property in Halfway Road, Halfway, Sheppey.

Paramedics were also called to the scene, and the man was taken to a London hospital for treatment for injuries consistent with stab wounds.

The arrested men remain in custody while inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.

Police are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers to contact them.

Residents and businesses with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam who were in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for relevant footage.
