HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A human trafficking investigation led to the arrests of seven people in Hartford, police announced on Wednesday.
Ahmad Compton, James Williams, Bernard Mickens, Raheem Jones, Donovan Dun, Tyrod Jackson, and Tahjay Wilson face various charges.
According to police, three juvenile female victims were safely recovered and returned to their families.
Probable cause was identified for the suspects and arrest affidavits were approved by superior court.
Police said that as of Tuesday, all seven suspects were successfully taken into custody.
Many of them were charged with trafficking persons and sexual assault.
They said their investigation continues and addition arrests are anticipated.
