It's rare for ' twin' tropical storms to form and circulate side-by-side in the Atlantic Ocean, but forecasters said Wednesday morning that it's looking increasingly likely within the next few days.

Two disturbances, Invest 94L and 93L, are both expected to become this year's next tropical storms, Humberto and Imelda , forecasters with the National Hurricane Center in Miami said at 7 a.m. Wednesday.

While forecasters said Invest 94L could impact islands in the Caribbean and come close to the Florida coast, no warnings had been issued for the region as of Wednesday morning. Fox 8 meteorologist Zack Fradella said the East Coast and the Bahamas should watch the systems carefully.

The disturbances are not a threat to Louisiana or the Gulf Coast.
