A home beverage carbonator brand has recalled more than 100,000 of its bottles because they may explode during use.
Drinkmate recalled its 1-liter carbonation bottles with a clear polyethylene terephthalate (PET) body and caps and bases in red, blue, white and black plastic, according to an announcement from the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission.
The recalled bottles have expiration dates between January 2026, and October 2026.
The bottles were sold individually and as part of the OmniFizz starter kits online at iDrinkproducts.com, Walmart.com, Amazon.com , Target.com and HomeDepot.com from April 2023 through October 2024 for about $20 individually or $130 as a part of some Drinkmate OmniFizz starter kits.
