LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska State Patrol has made 30 DUI arrests during the first three Husker football home games of the season.

NSP said the arrests took place across the state, with six of those arrests occurring in Lancaster County in the hours surrounding a Husker football game.

During the first month of home games last season, troopers made 35 DUI arrests, including 10 DUI arrests in Lancaster County.

“The vast majority of fans followed the safety game plan and drove sober. If alcohol is part of your gameday experience, use the off week to make the adjustment to designate a sober driver or make another plan to get home without driving impaired,” said Colonel Bryan Waugh, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.
