SEWARD, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln man was arrested after investigators say they found 4,100 fentanyl pills in his possession following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 on Sept. 16.

Shortly before midnight, a deputy sheriff conducted a traffic stop after being notified of a vehicle making several traffic violations while traveling westbound on I-80.

During the stop, investigators with the Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force identified a man sitting in the backseat as 53-year-old Jeremy Sherman.

During a pat down search of Sherman, investigators located a large bag of meth, later weighed to be 178 grams, and a clear glass pipe on his body, court documents show.
