LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Tonight's Hometown Heroes are gearing up for an auction that's been raising money for nearly 50 years.

The Brethren Disaster Auction will be held at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center this Friday and Saturday. The auction began 48 years ago in 1977, and it has raised nearly $20 million for victims of natural disasters in the United States and around the world.

There will be quilt auctions, basket auctions, and even auctions just for kids. Attendees can also expect arts and crafts, a farmers' market, and homemade food.
