ASHLAND, Va. (WWBT) - Those looking to get their frights in an old-fashioned way can head over to Ashland Theatre for it’s first-ever haunted house.

The theatre is transforming into a hotspot for haunted thrills and more on Thursday, Oct. 9.

The trip through the iconic landmark features live scares, classic horror movie references, and a screening of the iconic Halloween (1978) at the end of the night.

Horror lovers can expect encounters with figures like The Ghost with the Most, Melanie Daniels and a strange bartender named Lloyd.

After the tour, guests will be treated to the lobby experience, complete with food, cocktails and more.

The event also gives an opportunity for guests to win prizes throughout the evening.

The end of the night finishes with John Carpenter’s Halloween.
