INDIANAPOLIS — Defending "America's Got Talent" champion Richard Goodall was back on stage during the show's live finale Wednesday night.
Goodall, who won Season 19 of the hit NBC show, performed his new original song "Long Time Coming" on the show, alongside Journey founder Neal Schoen and Goodall's band, "Sugar Street." Goodall released the new song last month.
Goodall, known as "The Singing Janitor," for his day job at West Vigo Middle School in Terre Haute, where he still works.
"I'm still the same guy," he said in a segment on the finale. "I just love this community and never want to leave it."
The segment showed the whirlwind lifestyle Goodall has experienced in the past year, meeting celebrities like Lenny Kravitz, David Spade and Dana Carvey, while performing across the country
