Anthony Bautista had two goals and an assist, all in the first half, as St. Peter’s Prep, No. 4 in the NJ.com Top 20, jumped out to a 3-0 lead on its way to a 5-0 win over Memorial in West New York.
Nick Lutsky opened the scoring off an assist from Bautista in the 13th minute, and returned the favor four minutes later on Bautista’s first goal.
That was more than enough support for goalies JP Lombera (eight saves) and Anthony Novello (five saves), who combined on the shutout.
The Marauders (7-1) won their fourth game in a row.
Pedro Romano stopped nine shots for Memorial (1-8).
