Carew’s two goals guides Mount St. Mary over Hunterdon Central

Courtney Carew scored twice, leading Mount St. Mary to a 4-2 victory over Hunterdon Central in Flemington.

After a 2-2 tie at halftime, Grace Kelly scored to give Mount St. Mary a 3-2 lead. Sophia Alvarez added an insurance goal in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Kelly Naughton finished with four saves for Mount St. Mary.

Mount St. Mary (3-6) will host Bridgewater-Raritan on Monday, while Hunterdon Central (1-6) will travel to Montgomery on Monday.
