Good morning, everyone! As we head into Thursday, we're starting off with some lingering clouds and a chance for light rain showers, especially in the morning hours for much of the region. Some of our southernmost counties might see these showers stick around into the early afternoon, but for most of us, we expect to dry out by late morning. We're not anticipating any heavy rain, significant flooding, or strong severe storms with this system.
Following this initial disturbance, a much drier airmass is set to move in, setting up a nice period of dry and seasonably warm weather. Looking ahead, Friday through the first half of next week, the forecast is looking quite pleasant with extended dry spells and temperatures that are right around where we'd expect them for this time of year.
