Wild video from the Westbank shows two coyotes scurrying into a backyard in the Bocage neighborhood in Algiers.

These sightings have left neighbors across the area on edge and mourning their pets.

One woman said she discovered that her two cats had been eaten, finding only their paws left behind.

Residents are asked to be mindful of their pets as coyotes appear to be more active right now and to keep an eye on them when letting them out.
