Thibodaux Regional Health System is fostering a love for reading from the moment of birth.

The health system will automatically enroll every newborn in the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, beginning Oct. 1. Advertisement

The Lafourche Education Foundation announced a partnership with Thibodaux Regional Health System to implement this initiative.

The program will gift books to children through age 5 free of charge.
