A statewide phone outage is impacting 911 call systems across Louisiana.

In Southeast Louisiana, New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and St. Tammany Parish officials are reporting 911 outages.

According to the Orleans Parish Communications District, a 911 fiber line was cut, causing the outage.

In New Orleans, residents are asked to call 504-513-6594 for emergencies only. Anyone with a non-emergency is asked to hold off calling until this issue is resolved.

Residents in Jefferson Parish are asked to call 504-227-1400.

Slidell residents needing to call about an emergency are asked to call 985-646-4201 or 985-646-4219.

Mandeville, Bush, Folsom, and Covington residents are asked to call 985-276-1300.
