MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - Colorado residents can expect smaller TABOR refunds this year, according to the latest economic revenue forecast released by the Legislative Council Staff.
The forecast indicates that the General Fund revenue for this year is approximately $17.8 billion. As a result, the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights (TABOR) refunds will be significantly reduced compared to previous years.
Single filers earning up to $54,000 can anticipate a refund of about $20, while joint filers in the same income bracket can expect around $40. For those earning between $54,000 and $110,000, the refunds are projected to be $26 for single filers and $52 for joint filers.
