WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Two people have been arrested in a Watertown apartment building following an ongoing drug investigation.

Members of the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment at 11 Public Square early Thursday morning.

They arrested 33-year-old Dyllynn Griffin and 47-year-old Shara Leandry.

The task force also seized a Walther PPK .380 handgun, approximately 19 grams of methamphetamine, 65 suboxone strips, a dagger, a set of metal knuckles, and $86 in cash.

Officials said the apartment had been the focus of an ongoing drug investigation.

Griffin was charged with felony drug and weapon charges. He was arraigned in Watertown City Court and released.
