Celebrating a grand opening on Friday, Sept. 19, the restaurant’s first week saw no shortage of traffic, mostly arriving from word of mouth.

Owners Nick Chewie and Blake Kovacs are homegrown.

“I wouldn’t have done it really, quite frankly, anywhere else,“ Kovacs said. I feel like the wind is at our back. There’s just a great support system with family and friends.”
