WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Senior Services of Wichita has named a new executive director. Wyatt Sheeder will assume the role in November.
Laurel Alkire, executive director of the agency for more than 20 years, retired in June.
The local nonprofit offers a range of programs for seniors, including social gatherings, sports competitions, and Meals on Wheels.
Sheeder is a Senior Services board member and the current Executive Director of the Wichita Cancer Foundation.
In a statement, Senior Services of Wichita said that Sheeder "Brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role. We welcome his arrival."
