Dan Moore of Cleveland City Council said he witnessed something Wednesday night that "perfectly captures the heart of our local law enforcement."
In a Facebook post , he recounted Bradley County Sheriff's Office deputies and Cleveland Police Department officers came together to push a broken-down car with its owner safely into a gas station:
"What stood out wasn’t just the act itself, it was the collaboration. Two different agencies, without hesitation, worked side by side to help someone in need. It wasn’t an emergency call, it wasn’t something that would ever make a headline, but it was an example of going above and beyond for our community."
He did not say where the driver broke down.
