Not to be confused with Greater Victoria’s Butterfly Gardens, the Mid-Island’s Butterfly Sanctuary is up for sale on both the company’s website and on Colliers Canada for $2.25 million.

The butterfly sanctuary is located on 18.29 acres in Coombs, off Highway 4A, “approximately 2 kilometres west of the popular Old Country Market (Goats on the roof),” states Colliers Canada’s property description.

The property sale includes a large single family home (3,200 square feet), and draws roughly 50,000 visitors each year.

The butterfly sanctuary is described as “ideally suited to an owner operator, the property also features a large, single-family home and has considerable opportunity for expansion of the existing business or other complimentary agricultural uses,” states Colliers Canada.
