SEATTLE — Seattle mayoral candidate Katie Wilson stood in the plaza of Sinclair-owned KOMO Thursday calling on the company to reinstate Jimmy Kimmel's show . While ABC has reinstated Kimmel, KOMO's parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, has continued to preempt the show.

ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel's show after comments he made following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, where Kimmel said Republicans were describing his killer "as anything but one of them."

KOMO is scheduled to host a debate between Wilson and incumbent Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell on Oct. 8. She said she will not participate in the debate unless Kimmel's program is restored.
