Police are asking the public for help in finding a missing North Vancouver woman who was last seen leaving her condo building last week.

Virginia Diack, 58, was captured on security cameras leaving her home in the 100-block East Esplanade Avenue at around 3 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Diack’s brother said she didn’t take her phone, wallet or keys, which is out of character for her.

“She’s a really sweet person,” said Steve Dent, who flew from Paris, where he lives, to Vancouver to help Diack’s husband and other family members with the search.

“We’re all really worried and upset. All kinds of things are running through your mind.”
