LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded Thursday night to reports of a fire at the Grand Lodge retirement community near 80th Street and Pioneers Boulevard.
Crews were called just before 8:30 p.m. LFR spokesperson MJ Lierman said flames were found in an electrical panel in an underground parking area.
Lierman said Lincoln Electric System arrived quickly and was able to get the utilities under control.
The call was initially upgraded because of the high occupancy of the facility, according to Lincoln Fire and Rescue.
