WARREN The Trumbull County Administration Building closed on Friday due to a sewage issue, officials confirmed in a memo to county personnel.

The closure is a precaution to address a health and safety matter, according to an email from the office of the County Commissioners. Board of Commissioners President Rick Hernandez ordered the building at 160 High St. NW to close until the issue is resolved.

The email stated the concern involves a sewage problem solely within the Administration Building. County officials emphasized that the closure does not affect the nearby Sheriff and Maintenance buildings.

The Administration Building houses several county offices, including the County Commissioners, Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder, Clerk of Courts, Human Resources, and the Planning Commission.
