American Airlines quietly rolls out new seat change but flyers are saying it's '10 years too late'

AMERICAN Airlines bosses have made a series of layout changes to its cabins - and passengers have noticed the difference.

But, some claimed the spruce-ups happened at least a decade too late.

American Airlines passenger Dougie McElroy seemed to be left pleasantly surprised when he made his way to his seat ahead of a flight from Dallas Fort Worth to Arlington, Virginia.

“New seat colors?? I like it,” he wrote on Reddit .

His plane seat looked like it had recently fitted leather and what looked like a mustard-looking golf cart.

Some flyers rushed to praise the change made by American Airlines.

“Flew on one of these,” one Redditor said.

“Like it as well. Looks better in person than on photo - very clean and professional.”
