HOUSTON (CW39) – A man who was charged with killing his wife back in 2023 died Friday morning after having a medical emergency at his court appearance in downtown Houston at the Criminal Justice Center.
James Anderson was accused of murdering his wife Victoria Anderson in Kingwood. Today, authorities said he collapsed in the 208th District Court. A court bailiff tried to administer naloxone also know as Narcan, which is often used to reverse a drug overdose. However, before EMS arrived, Anderson was taken by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:05 a.m..
Before today's court appearance, Anderson had been out on a $300,000 bond and returned to court today to make a plea on his murder charge. That's where he was expected to agree to a 3
