UPDATE: Chattanooga firefighters quickly contained a fire at the Orange Grove Center Friday afternoon.

Crews were called to the nonprofit’s Blackford Street campus around 12:44pm after multiple 911 calls reported smoke coming from the building. When firefighters arrived, they found flames and heavy smoke coming from the roof.

All residents and staff were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters brought the fire under control within minutes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
