Machinist union, Boeing to resume talks Monday with a federal mediator present

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The machinist union representing thousands of striking St. Louis Boeing workers told First Alert 4 negotiations will resume on Monday.

The union said Boeing’s negotiations committees and its own will talk Monday with the help of a federal mediator.

The St. Louis area plants have been on strike since August 4. And tensions have grown in recent weeks as the sides continue to fail to come to an agreement.
