(WKBN) -- Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced the latest appointees to state commissions, and Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown is among three locally on the list.

Brown will serve on the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission effective Friday, with his term ending Aug. 21, 2026.

The other two local appointees are George Betty III of Youngstown and Matt Kresic of Warren. They will serve on the Children and Youth Advisory Council starting Sept. 30 and will continue at the governor's pleasure.
