AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Driving a school bus is difficult. Watching the road and other vehicles, plus trying to keep an eye on the children is difficult, but new technology can help.
A dozen Austintown school buses have new electronics. One of the features is a camera that starts recording in both directions when the stop arm is out. And other drivers are aware. "We haven't had any red light violations this week, so that's a positive. We used to get one a day at least," said Angie Mraz, director of transportation for Austintown Schools.
