AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Driving a school bus is difficult. Watching the road and other vehicles, plus trying to keep an eye on the children is difficult, but new technology can help.

A dozen Austintown school buses have new electronics. One of the features is a camera that starts recording in both directions when the stop arm is out. And other drivers are aware. "We haven't had any red light violations this week, so that's a positive. We used to get one a day at least," said Angie Mraz, director of transportation for Austintown Schools.

That's one of the safety enhancements on the buses. There are also five cameras on the inside, capturing all of the seats. That zig-zag pattern of cameras on the roof of the bus covers the entire length and width of the seating area. So there's no ducki
