SESSER — The Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils used a tenacious run game to overpower Christopher/Zeigler-Royalton/Elverado on the way to a 40-6 Black Diamond Conference victory Friday night.

SVW amassed 257 total yards on the ground, led by senior running back Jace Erwin with 150 yards. Senior Amiri Rose ran for 63 yards and sophomore Jacob Potts totaled 29 yards.
