WEST FRANKFORT — The Hamilton County High School boys golf team brought home its first Black Diamond Conference championship in six years Thursday, posting a team score of 312, or 22 strokes better than second-place Carmi-White County (334).

Zeigler-Royalton/Christopher placed third at 343. Trico was fourth at 344 and Edwards County was fifth at 346. Rounding out the field were: Eldorado (347), Vienna (359), Goreville (360), Fairfield (366), Flora (371), and Johnston City (393).
