ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — Zionsville got back to a .500 record Friday night after handling conference rival Hamilton Southeastern for a 35-29 victory.

The Eagles, who lost three of their first four games, entered the game with momentum following a 30-7 blowout win over Noblesville one week ago. Meanwhile, it was the opposite feeling for the HSE Royals as they'd dropped their last two after starting the season 3-0.

From the moment the game started, Zionsville looked to be in complete control.

The Eagles went up 14-0 early in the game before Hamilton Southeastern finally responded with a touchdown of their own late in the first. The Royals then tightened the score after kicking a field goal early in the second quarter.
