FISHERS, Ind. — Following a heartbreaking defeat one week ago at the hands of top-ranked Brownsburg , the Fishers Tigers rolled over the visiting Avon Orioles for a 29-15 victory Friday night.

From the moment the game kicked off, Fishers looked to be in complete control. Senior Ryan Thembulembu started things off quickly with a 1-yard rushing touchdown to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.

Avon struggled on offense during the opening quarter as the Orioles were forced to punt on nearly every possession and were held scoreless following a late Fishers field goal to end the first 12 minutes of play.

Those struggles continued into the second quarter as a tipped pass on fourth down allowed Fishers senior Jaxson Andrews to intercept the Orioles and return the ball 29-yard
